slide show pictures are pictures I have taken while out training .
Well my friends fall is most definitely here. The trees are changing color and loosing there leaf's temps are cooler the smell of wood burning in the air. its taking me a minute to get used to riding in colder temps. this morning a my coldest ride so far by the time I got home the out side temp was 33 degrees out. BURRRRRR ! wasn't to bad . A big thank you to the person who had the idea to use neoprene as a cycling shoe cover. my toes thank you.
I have been thinking about what organization I am going to raise the money for. So on Monday I am going to call The Tri-cities cancer center to commit to them and let them help promote my journey across the country. my leave date is at the end of April (crossing fingers nothing bad happens) April is coming up fast and I have a short time to finish raising the money I need to make this happen. That is why I am asking my friends and family to help sponsor me and share my website with as many As you can to help out. sense January 31st of this year I have logged 3,397,5 miles. Sense the idea came into my head and I started training to do this. I have logged 290 training rides totaling 5,020.2 miles.
If you where to ask me if I think I can do this?. The Answer is Yes!!! when I started out 7 Miles was a work out. now I can do 70 miles in 6.5 hrs I have broken many person records over the last year. Right now I am working on breaking two records I want to ride 100 miles in a day. and I want to break my 15 mile time record which is 15 miles in 60 minutes flat. which I don't think is to bad for a 42 year old ex 2 pack a day smoker who was over weight and out of shape. tomorrow is another training ride. tell next time my friends get out and ride a bike. peace Shawn
